Gardens by the Bay has transformed into a tropical playground this June school holidays with the return of its annual Children’s Festival, running from 24 May to 15 June 2025 at Supertree Grove.
This year, the festival features Disney’s beloved duo, Lilo & Stitch, bringing the spirit of ‘ohana’—family, love, and belonging—to life through immersive play zones and interactive installations.
Slide into Adventure with The Great ‘Ohana Wave
The festival’s star attraction is The Great ‘Ohana Wave—a nearly 7-metre-tall, 28-metre-long slide that wraps around one of the iconic Supertrees. Designed for children aged 6 to 12, this thrilling ride offers young adventurers the chance to “surf” their way down in a safe and exhilarating experience.
Explore Four Stitch-Inspired Play Zones
Families can look forward to four themed activity stations:
-
Forest of Belonging: An inflatable playscape where kids can discover the meaning of ‘ohana’ through Stitch’s journey of belonging and adventure.
-
Space Adventure: A space-themed mission where children can race swing cars to power up light beams and complete their mission.
-
Stitch’s Mischief Makers: A creative zone where children can nurture creativity and sensory awareness through tactile play with kinetic sand.
Evening Magic with Garden Rhapsody
As the sun sets, visitors can enjoy a special edition of the nightly free Garden Rhapsody light and sound show titled The Way to ‘Ohana. The Supertrees come alive with lights synchronised to music inspired by Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, playing at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM daily during the festival.
