SUZUKA CIRCUIT Shifts Gears Towards Singapore Market, Showcasing Its Family-Friendly Mobility Theme Park with EV Karts on FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX Racetrack & Summer Water Attractions

10 min read

SUZUKA CIRCUIT is a one-of-a-kind theme park in Japan that offers over 30 hands-on attractions centred around vehicles—from go-karts, cars, and motorcycles to airplanes, boats, and roller coasters. Designed for all ages, from young children to adults, guests can enjoy operating various types of mobility-based rides themselves. Already a beloved destination for domestic travellers, SUZUKA CIRCUIT is now positioning itself as a premier, one-stop family-friendly attraction for global tourists seeking memorable experiences in Japan.

Since opening in 1962 as Japan’s first professional racing circuit, SUZUKA CIRCUIT has built a reputation as a world-class motorsport venue. Renowned for its challenging 5.8km layout, featuring a unique figure-eight configuration that has earned the admiration of drivers worldwide, the establishment has hosted major events including the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX and the Suzuka 8 hours, solidifying its status as a cornerstone of international motorsports. In particular, the circuit has hosted the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX a total of 35 times, attracting over 8.9 million spectators to date. The FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX is announced to be held on the 27th–29th March 2026 at the iconic SUZUKA CIRCUIT. While many may know SUZUKA CIRCUIT as the prestigious venue for the motorsports races, it has since evolved into a distinctive destination combining motorsports with family-friendly entertainment. The site is currently the only destination in the world that merges an international racing course with a full-scale theme park designed for children and families.

The park, themed around motion and mobility, presents a bold fusion of motorsport thrills and interactive, age-inclusive experiences for motor enthusiasts and families alike. It is a fully integrated theme park where children can drive electric vehicles, learn traffic rules through interactive play, and explore a whimsical world inspired by motion and mobility.

Key Attractions for Families

1. Drive on a Real FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX Racetrack with “Circuit Challenger”

Experience the thrill of driving on the actual SUZUKA CIRCUIT Racing Course. In the popular “Circuit Challenger” attraction, families can operate electric vehicles together and enjoy a rare hands-on driving experience on a world-famous track.

2. 30+ Mobility-Themed Attractions

With 30 different attractions, guests of all ages can enjoy operating various vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trains, boats, airplanes, and even roller coasters. Some attractions allow children as young as three to take the wheel or participate in immersive, educational driving lessons—making learning fun through play. Each attraction is tailored to match different ages and skill levels, allowing kids to gradually take on more challenges as they grow.

  • Toddlers who can sit independently: Can ride together with a guardian (approx. 10 attractions)

  • Ages 3 and up: Can operate certain rides by themselves

  • Ages 7 and up: Can take on more dynamic and realistic mobility challenges

3. Summer-Only WATER PARK “AQUA ADVENTURE” Opens July 5

From July 5 (Sat) to September 21 (Sun), enjoy WATER PARK “AQUA ADVENTURE”, a seasonal water park modelled after natural terrains like mountains, rivers, and waterfalls. Guests can ride attractions in swimwear, seamlessly moving between the water park and main park areas with a special pass.

Comfortable Lodging, Dining, and Relaxation Facilities at SUZUKA CIRCUIT HOTEL

The on-site hotel offers accommodations ranging from motorsports-themed luxury rooms to family-friendly options. Amenities include baby care items, kids’ menus, and even hot spring baths. Dining options include buffet-style restaurants and fine dining experiences featuring high-quality ingredients.

Convenient Set Package Plan for International Visitors

SUZUKA CIRCUIT is pleased to offer a convenient package plan tailored for international families, combining park admission, hotel accommodation, and access to exclusive Circuit View Lounge – VIP Suite, featuring a panoramic view of the racing course. Additionally, during the 46th Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race, held from August 1 to 3, guests can enjoy an all-access ticket that grants entry to the park, race viewing areas, and the water park, providing a comprehensive experience of all the exciting events.

A unique feature of the park is its system of “achievement goals” tied to each attraction. When children accomplish these goals, they receive a card. For just 300 yen (tax included), they can turn this card into a personalized license card with their photo—creating a tangible symbol of their accomplishment, much like an adult driver’s license.

Experience the Thrill of Driving on a Real Racing Circuit: “Circuit Challenger”

The Circuit Challenger lets guests drive electric go-karts (EV karts) on the very same racing course that hosts some of the world’s most prestigious professional races.

This hands-on experience has become a guest favourite, offering a rare opportunity to navigate a world-class track under your own control. What makes this attraction especially unique is that it opens during select time slots between official races and practice sessions. Because of this, availability is limited, and advance reservations are highly recommended as spots sell out quickly.

  • Please note that operating days may vary depending on the race schedule.

  • Additionally, a separate ticket must be purchased in addition to the park passport. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the official website.
