10 signs you are so over pregnancy

As much as you see pregnancy as a beautiful experience, you cannot help the moments that make you feel, "Oh dear goodness, I am so done with this pregnancy and cannot wait to give birth already." Here are 10 of those times that you can possibly relate to.
You no longer feel radiant

You no longer feel radiant

That "glow" you get when you are pregnant? Long gone. When you are 30 weeks deep into pregnancy and your baby bump is getting in the way of everything, everything is either inconvenient, uncomfortable, or hurts.

You feel like belching all the time

Heartburns accompany you day and night. As if sleeping during pregnancy is not already a feat, you have to follow pointers like "sleep on your left" and "sleep with your head elevated" to combat the acid reflux. Why thank you, hormones.

You miss your old wardrobe

You miss your old wardrobe

Maternity wear options are so limited, and many make you feel like a balloon clothed with an unfashionable piece of fabric. (Psst, ASOS maternity range has fabulous pieces!)

You are tired of hearing everything people say about your body

One moment you are "huge" (you don't say). The next minute you "don't even look pregnant from the back". While it is rather comforting to hear the latter, why do people think that someone being pregnant makes it more acceptable for you to comment on their body?

You are immobile

You are immobile

No matter how many times you are told that to embrace your beautiful baby bump, you can't help just feeling like BB-8 just rolling around everywhere, but less cute.

You want to be left alone

A day without interacting with the outside world would be grand. You don't want to deal with anyone — anything that has a heartbeat. Except for the little one in your tummy.

You realise confinement period isn't what it is

You realise confinement period isn't what it is

You will still be bothered by your spouse, your newborn, your other kids if you have any, your over-concerned parents and in-laws, doctor appointments, etc. Basically you will be spending time with everyone but yourself.

You run out of things to watch

You run out of things to watch

You have seen all eight Harry Potter films. Twice. You've had a marathon of the whole 10 seasons of Friends. When that wasn't enough, you turned to nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother for a similar kind of sitcom. If anyone has anything else for you to watch, please, bring it on. (Speaking of Bring It On, you have binged watched that entire series too.)

You can't wait to drink

You can't wait to drink

Even the idea of a terrible hangover the next morning is not enough to put off the burning desire you have to be able to drink again.

You want your pelvic floor back

You want your pelvic floor back

Oh, pelvic floor, how I have missed you!
